Attending My First Live Concert

I saw John Gorka on "Crook and Chase" when Curry insisted upon watching that.  He was dressed like me, looked a bit like me, and played music that sounded either like something I had written, or something I'd want to write.  I was boggled to see in the paper that he was visiting Ottawa the next week(!), so I went to see him.  He was extremely shy and funny, and played funny and sad songs that really worked.  I found it all deeply inspiring.
